Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for purchasing with carelink.lk operated by Carelink Pharmacy.
We kindly request that you read the conditions explained in more detail below, in order to review the condition that applies to your situation, while following the correct procedure.
1. Returns
1.1 Prescription Medication
After you upload your prescription, one of our pharmacist’s will contact you to get specific information regarding your order. We make sure that we only deliver the exact brand prescribed by the doctor. If we do not have stock to fulfill your order, we will inform you about available substitutes for your prescribed medication (Brands). We make sure that we deliver prescription medication only after we fully confirm the order details with you.
Therefore, due to the sensitive nature of medication and the regulatory requirements regarding storage of medicines, we do not accept returns once an order has been delivered.
However, we will accept returns if any of the below issues have taken place.
- Defective product
- Order item(s) is lost or damaged during transit
You can return unopened items in the original packaging within 3 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 3 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email/phone, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

1.2 Grocery Items
We accept returns. You can return unopened items in the original packaging within 3 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 3 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. 2. Exchanges
We only exchange goods if they are defective or damaged. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at +94 11 2983939/+94 77 7783939 with details of the product and the defect. You can send the item you consider defective to:

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail/phone, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are eligible, we will send you a replacement product.

3. Exceptions
Some items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These include: surgical items & devices, baby care products, injections, beauty care products. We reserve the right to refuse returns (or refunds) for certain products not mentioned above.
Refunds do not include any delivery and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
